Jason received his Masters in Social Welfare from UCLA's Luskin School of Public Affairs. His first year clinical rotation took place at LAUSD, where he worked with specialized student groups such as children experiencing homelessness, DCFS-involvement, and justice-involvement. For his second year clinical rotation, Jason was stationed at the West Los Angeles VA, where he focused on mindfulness-based approaches to assist veterans in dealing with PTSD and chronic pain. Additionally, he utilized Motivational Interviewing techniques to help veterans overcome behavioral health issues like smoking and overeating. Jason's passion lies in serving underserved populations, including those with substance addiction, homelessness, or those working towards recovery.
